RESULTS AND ANSWER KEY for Golden Oldies Lyrics Quiz #266

Six teams had perfect scores: COASTERS, GYPSY'S CARAVAN, VILLAGE IDIOTS,
DELPHI TRIVIA CLUB, WILL McCORRY and MICK TURSKY. ACROSS THE BOARDER and
The EJs only missed tie-breakers. #14 proved to be the undoing for a few
teams. The quiz didn't turn out as hard as expected, so beware the next
one. The average score on this quiz was a relatively high 465.

Thanks to all who entered. GOLQ 267 will be posted shortly.

#T2) Skeeter Davis and Bobby Bare: "A Dear John Letter" (1965) [114] {-}
 QM: I was planning to use Pat Boone's charted version in a quiz, but I
     liked Skeeter's voice in this Bubbling Under 45 much better.

     Stan Freberg. Also charted in 1953 by Jean Sheppard and Ferlin Husky,
     Also Pat O'Day and The Four Horsemen.
