#T1) Left Banke: "She May Call You Up Tonight" (1967) [120] {-}
  QM: The third and final song in the Renee Fladen trilogy, after Walk Away,
      Renee and Pretty Ballerina. Michael Brown co-wrote all three. Renee was
      a bandmate's girlfriend. She went on to live a life of quiet obscurity
      until the Internet came along. Google her name and you'll see what I
      mean.

#T2) Shangri-Las: "Dressed In Black" (1966) [-] {-}
  QM: The B-side to "He Cried"and a feature song on the Red Bird Story CD boxed
      set. This is more an acknowledgement to producer Shadow Morton, who first
      brought us the Shangri-Las with his composition "(Remember) Walkin' In The
      Sand". Both Shadow and the Shangri-Las had interesting stories and rumors
      associated with them. This song was also recorded as "So Soft, So Warm" by
      the Nu-Luvs and appeared on the excellent Growin' Up Too Fast girl group
      anthology that also included #09 abpve.
