RESULTS and ANSWER KEY for Golden Oldies Lyrics Quiz #307 (GOLQ307)

This is the first NAVAIRHEADS GOLQ in ages where no song was identified by
everyone, and no one achieved a maximum score of 500++, although several
teams tied at 500 with one tie breaker. Congratulations to the Village Idiots,
EJ's, Gypsy's Caravan, Vito and the Salutations, and Delphi Trivia Club, all
who tied for first by identifying all 25 songs and T1. Surprisingly, no one
identified T2, which was the flip side of the large hit, "In The Year 2525."

Hopefully, the stumpers were made a bit easier to identify once you realized
that the artists were arranged such that, exluding the letter "X" (since no
group beginning with that letter ever hit the charts), each of the remaining
25 letters of the alphabet were used once, in order. Only Team Teitlebaum
noted the "theme" in their entry.

Will McCorry recognized that the song appropriate to the Olympics is #18:
"Next Plane To London."

Thanks also to all of the entering teams for their participation.

Howard Teitelbaum has already posted GOLQ308.

Then my baby told me,

#T1) Moving Sidewalks: "99th Floor" (1967) [-] {-}

was spurned. In that sense, both of our tie breaker artists began with--or
had ties to--the letter "Z," in keeping with the general theme of our quiz.
Gypsy Caravan description: "ancient crap by Billy Gibbons' band before ZZ Top."

#T2) Zager and Evans: "Little Kids" (1969) [-] {-}

Note: This was the flip side of In The Year 2525, a nice melody and acoustic
