RESULTS and ANSWER KEY for Golden Oldies Lyrics Quiz #310 (GOLQ310)

Congratulations to the EJ's for having achieved a perfect score, identifying
both tiebreakers and our special trivia question. Delphi Trivia Club was
almost equally as impressive, missing only the T2 artist. In addition to EJ's
and Delphi Trivia Club, congratulations go also to Virve, and Lehigh Valley,
who identified the answer to the trivia question: the 15 songs were recorded
by Brenda Lee. More specifically, the songs were recorded on albums during her
peak years of 1960-1962 and, with the exception of her own hit, "I Want To Be
Wanted," all were covers of songs that were hits for other artists. Most were
standards from the "Great American Songbook" long before Rod Stewart and Linda
Ronstadt recorded their versions of standards.

Thanks also to all of the entering teams for their participation.

Howard Teitelbaum has already posted GOLQ311.

Both the Ink Spots and Tommy Dorsey reached number three with the song
in 1940, and both were also acceptable answers. Fats Domino as artist
was not acceptable for two reasons: 1) His version charted during the
GOLQ era (1955-1969); and, 2) Fats was already used in the body of the
