Also as an addendum, several participants followed up on my comment on #25 ("Sextet" vs. "Strings"). There is evidence that the 78 rpm release showed the "sextet" version while the 45 rpm version has "strings" on the label. _______________________________________________________________________________ Congratulations to Will McCorry who will walk away with the usual large GOLQ cash prize for having a perfect 500++ score. The theme, of course, was money in varying U.S. currency units. I had given some thought to trying to find some non-U.S. types in songs, but I came up empty. I suppose I could have stretched the theme and included a British unit as in "A Hundred Pounds Of Clay" but quickly realized that this would probably get me banned from GOLQ for life. Thanks to all who participated and a special "nice to see ya again" to GOLQ legacy Ron Crandall who came out of semi-retirement to take part in the quiz. Regina Litman will be posting GOLQ 332 soon. - Mike <golq331@golq.org> _____________________________________________________________________________ After each score below are two characters representing the two tie-breakers: + indicates a tie-breaker answered correctly. - indicates partial credit. x indicates a totally incorrect guess. . indicates no guess.
