GOLDEN OLDIES LYRICS QUIZ #310 (GOLQ310)

Welcome to GOLQ310! The quiz has no specific theme, many well recognized
hits, and a few stumpers. Here's a difficult trivia question, the answer
to which may help identify some of the songs, and will also serve as an
extra tie breaker, if needed: What do the following fifteen songs share in
common? #1, #2, #4, #5, #6, #8, #9, #11, #17, #18, #19, #22, #25, #T1, #T2

Enjoy!

                       Golden Oldies Lyrics Quiz #310
               Recordings #01-25 were from 1955 through 1969
            Due 5:00 p.m. EST (GMT-5), Friday, November 30, 2012
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Come climb the hill with me baby
We'll see what we shall see
I'll bring my horn with me
I'll be with you where berries are blue
#01)

Shall I catch a shooting star
Shall I bring it where you are
If you want me to, I will
You can set me any task
I'll do anything you ask
#02)

Sweet Loretta Martin
#03)

Remember sunshine can be found among the cloudy skies
So let your hair down
#04)

Why stop to think of whether
This little dream might fade
We've put our hearts together
Now we are one, I'm not afraid
#05)

I knew somewhere, sometime, somehow
You'd look at me and I would see that smile you're smiling now
#06)

Miss Lotte Lenya
#07)

The sky's a blackboard high above you
If a shooting star goes by
I'll use that star to write I love you
A thousand times across the sky
#08)

I've got my suitcase in my hand
Now ain't that a shame
I'm leavin' here today
Yes, I'm going back home to stay
#09)

In my beautiful balloon
#10)

How far would I travel
To be where you are
How far is the journey
From here to a star
#11)

As the music plays softly
And the lights are turned low
You can whisper sweet nothings
As you sway to and fro
#12)

I want you to know
I said I want you to know right now
#13)

While there's a moon, a moon on high
While there are birds, birds to fly
While there is you, you and I
I can be sure that I love you
#14)

It'll never work out
When you are near me like this
You're much too hard to resist
#15)

When we first met
My heart was set
You were the love
I'd never reget
#16)

Alone, so alone that I could cry
#17)

When I give my heart
It will be completely
#18)

Remember anyone can dream
And nothing's bad as it may seem
The little things you haven't got
Could be a lot
#19)

With every sigh I become more mad about you
More lost without you and so it goes
Can you imagine how much I love you
#20)

It's still the same old story
A fight for love and glory
A case of do or die
The world will always welcome lovers
#21)

Would it be the same
Would my every prayer begin and end with just your name
#22)

We're caught in a trap
I can't walk out
#23)

You never close your eyes anymore
When I kiss your lips
#24)

Tonight you're mine completely
You give your love so sweetly
#25)

------------
Tie-Breakers
------------

We're all alone
We're not even company
#T1)

Moonlit waters will sing
Of the tender love you bring
We'll be sweethearts forever
#T2)
