GOLDEN OLDIES LYRICS QUIZ #344 (GOLQ344) Welcome to the 25th anniversary edition of the Golden Oldies Lyrics Quiz! To mark this special occasion, a theme applies to the recordings used for #01-#25. This should be a very easy quiz, even if you don't figure out the theme. The tie-breakers are not part of this theme. They had an achievement similar to the other songs, but not in the same place as them or to each other. And here's a clue for you all--no more than one of them achieved this in a setting originated by Billboard. Year range: 1955-1969 (with potential chart entry in late 1954 or chart continuation into early 1970) including the tie-breakers. (If you have seen a prerelease version of GOLQ344, please note that songs #01 and #06 have been replaced.)
