At the risk of jeopardizing my on-line friendship with Mike Weaver by including
song #11 (he will understand why I say this), here is GOLQ-427, which has no
specific theme. Clue for everyone: The main part of the quiz contains only
two "statistical stumpers"; by that I mean that every song made Billboard's Top
30 except two. Further, 21 of the remaining 23 songs made Billboard's Top 20,
so there should be a lot of "low hanging fruit." Enjoy!

You are the answer to my prayer
I want to love you and I swear
To live my life with one desire:

Wanted t' go to Maine
Got a ticket on a DC plane

I wonder wonder if you love me
Guess I'll ask a star above me
When the moon is bright canary yellow

Your separate parts are not unknown
But the way you assemble them's all your own

I was a mere lad of sixteen
I've aged a year since then

Think of your fellow man
Lend him a helping hand

Why don't you mind your own business
Shut your lip, lip, lip
I know when my girl
Gimme the slip, slip, slip

You can smile
Every smile for the man who held your hand 'neath the pale moonlight

So darling hold me close to you
And love me, love me

The picnics at the park
The boat rides on the lake
The way we danced all night

Is everybody safe
Has everybody got a place to hide
Is everybody warm inside

I say everybody's got to have their day
And don't you know that

Let me tell you how I've missed you so
I didn't want you to go
'Cause I love you so

Come all without
Come all within

Bom, ma ba bom
Ba bom ba bom bom
Ba ma bom ba ba bom
Ba dangy dang dang
Ba dingy dong ding

Oh how I loved her, heaven knows
But though my heart was true,
It would never do
Party life was what she chose

Afraid to lose
If he came back
Which one would you choose

My love I offer you now
My heart and all it can give
For just as long as I live

'Cause I've got the real love
The kind that you need

When will they learn that a heart doesn't draw a line
Nothing matters if I am yours and you are mine

I do believe it
I do believe it's true
Mmm, mmm
Woah, Oh

No muscle-bound man could take my hand

I don't want a fancy gal with powder and paint
And I don't want a woman who thinks she's a saint

Couldn't get away too soon
No, no, no, no

I know you found out she's been cheatin'
And I heard she even told you she was untrue
How does it feel being on the outside, looking in

And now the time has come
And so, my love, I must go
And though I lose a friend
In the end you will know

The nicest part of any melody
Is when you're dancing close to me
